You had all kinds of assholes summoning aggressive creatures to the market square, a pisspot full of aggressive creatures all over the damn place, randomized rooms, endlessly looping mazes (like the RoTD) in commonly traversed places. NO cap on XP loss (though you didn't always go to -30% of your current level needs), but losing less than 20k was pretty rare.
