How often would you say it's worth "psyching" out your opponent in PK

Let's say I'm fighting an arial and I have a killer lightning attack weapon. I've found that generally if the player doesn't have a protection up to cover their vuln they auto-flee/quaff at even relatively weak hits that hit their vuln (shocking bite on an arial for example).

It's gotten to the point now where I often will not use the vuln weapon at first until I get them softened up a bit, maledicted or whatever. Then switch weapons and bash, lash, trip, throw, etc.

For the stronger PKers, how often do you consider fight psychology such as what I just mentioned rather than just going full on in the beginning?

Any other suggestions regarding the psychology of a PK?

All the time with Paladins or classes with little lag. Never with classes that can lag. n/t
