In a world where "good" and "evil" are as clearly defined as they are in CF, killing babies is really no more of a big deal than
crushing a mass of termite eggs one finds in the basement.
A graveyard search shows (out of a total of 780 Drow) that 11 have grown up to be neutral and only 1 has grown up to walk
in the light. The tremendous likelyhood is that the Drow baby in question will grow up to torture, maim, and kill without mercy.
Remember that a Squire isn't required to intellectualize his war. Some do, of course, and likely have a richer roleplay experience
for it, but "It has a red aura, kill it" is a perfectly viable way for a Squire to live his life. The gods, after all, have deemed this beast
or baby to be "Evil," who is a young Squire to question the gods?
And before you say that things need to be judged on their actions, do you think it would be wise to allow the termite eggs to hatch
and see if any of the critters decide that eating houses is not for them?
