Have you seen the Ring, or like any horror thing where the evil demon, undead, powepuff kid is like really fucking nasty? I guess thats how I think of dark elf kids, babies on the other hand hrrmn, I suppose look at it like this, if your race can choose a morality, (good,neutral,evil) then your race has the capacity to change and or learn through experiences and be redeemed. If you are a dark elf, and you cant help but get off on Torture, mayhem, rape, murder, generally deviousness, then the road to change is a long ass one. Now the dark elf isnt evil in his eyes, he is just doing what feels right and good to him, but the lightwalker peception of his everyday acts is one of repulsion and horror. Think of it as them being born a peadophile (the dark elf)(I dunno how apt this is, but I think it gets across the general idea of revulsion and or blind hatred for most) it doesnt matter if they swear off the orphans, you know they still feel the way they do. Now occasionally once every thousand years or so, when the sun doth shine and... you get the point, there is a dark elf who manages to overcome all of this negative press and rp to Goodness. I still wouldnt trust them mind, but meh.
