Its common knowledge that I'm not a fan of the imm staff because certain ones have issues when they talk to you in that tone of this game is theirs and they can do whatever they want. They justify it by stupid means but it is their game so you can just leave. But, I like the idea of flipping the switch and no more preps. You would have to reply on your class powers and that would be it. The AbS system is messed up and I'm going thought it right now but I've found a wand. I was so excited to find it. So, I put that aura up, shield spell with stone skin and still got utterly dominated by a villager who was spamming skills from level 15. The amount of work it takes a Mage to be decent is unreal when a villager has everything on a stick.
Get rid of preps and rely on class abities.
Warriors would be fine
Villagers would have to lose death blow and thirst. They can keep resistance
Mages would need something to stay competitive so give them a stronger class spell
There are alot of problems with the game but the imms don't want to hear it. They do have a problem though,
ABS Mage verses anyone without spellbane will win. That's just to much protections.
ABS invoker is incredibly strong and that dam redux is unreal. It's to good
Mages need the protections or they're screwed.
Villagers have protections, DB, thirst, spellbane on a stick while a Mage has to explore everywhere and hope that he can get his wands in order to have a 40% chance or less to beat a lame ass villager who thirsts on sight because he knows he can't kill without thirst. It's a very flawed system and the only way around it is to get rid of all the preps. That would be awesome.
