..this is your escape and it pains you to see people talking about it in a negative manner, but I can't believe you'd be willing to see it sink in to the abyss rather then discuss some rational changes to the game. I know you have a strong opinion, but you have to see and hear what others have to say as well.

As for edges, I'm a bit confused, are you saying that edges don't give any added benefit to enjoying the game and being competitive? Are you saying that you've avoided doing the monotony of exploring areas and looking at keywords you've done with past characters and always had a positive pk record against those who have completed these tasks? I've personally seen how much of an advantage edges are and I think most people have as well. All I am saying is don't tie something related to player power to something like observation and roles. Make those prizes more RP in nature like last names, room echoes, etc.

As for the game of CF, it has evolved to this point. Now you can say, it's not the changes to CF that have caused the drop in players, but what if that isn't the case and all it took was a polling of the playerbase to find a direction in which CF could once again prosper? Are you that unwilling to change that you'd rather see it fail then change?
