Been in Fortress on my current character for a few weeks I don't see many people afk'ng unless it is directly to rest for mana, or being involved in defense.

Given the timing of this post, I'd think this is related to the fact that four or five (in different level ranges) of us just defended for a couple of hours from imperials trying to take the Codex. I didnt leave the fortress except to scout over that time as I had at times six imperials in my range. Over that time period we foiled four attempts to retrieve, saw a young imperial dead to a ranger aiding us, beat off a misguided scion who thought we had the sceptre, and finally lost the Codex to an imperial blade who only one of our members could face. From my perspective what went on was a lot of healing the maran & sleeping for mana, scouting for the next attack, checking on items using locate object, and talking to the Tree about joint defense as they held the sceptre.
