This isn't exactly true. There's a partial truth here, but that is not all that makes up a law. I also don't care to discuss this, because I offered a law as a possible interpretation without explaining what would make it a correct interpretation. You did not do that here, either. Though, again, that's completely beside the point and I don't care to define a law with you.
There is only one law: Vote Stevers for VIP 2013
It is very true. I don't need you to define it. I have the dictionary. For something to be a law, it has to have a controlling entity that put that law into place. Whatever that controlling entity is. That is not ALL a law is, but it is the important part of the disctinction I've made.

Morality is often backed by law? I think it is more appropriate to say there exist laws that are backed by a christian morality (in the US, anyway).
Uh, no. All law that has ever been codified has been the product of a civilization. Said civilization forms their laws based on the morals of their group.

But that isn't true. Morality is not a set of rules. Morality does not have to be followed, whereas rules do.
But it is true. Morality IS a set of rules. Morality does not have to be followed, where as rules ALSO do not have to be followed. Breaking the rules of your moral code OR your controlling entity enforced laws results in punishment. Internal feelings of guilt or going to jail for instance.

But it doesn't start as a set of morals.
All law starts as a set of morals.
