Does anyone remember Nep/otherImms talking about roleplaying good aligns mixed with cabal obligations? The Imms basically said if you're a good align and there is another good align in an opposing cabal, you had better think of a way to deal with that person besides hunting them down and PKing them. And I remember when I was playing a good aligned Outlander, one of the Imms said my char should have been turned neutral because I attacked good aligned Tribs.
Something about that attitude just seems impossible to me. And in practice, I'm not sure there are many people that roleplay that way.
Take this log. Here is a good aligned elf that is hunting down other good align elves. He isn't content to just defend his cabal, etc. He actively pursues them to the Weald and tries to murder them there. There's no RP'd remorse on either side. And that's exactly what I would do if I were in this Trib guy's situation. Yet.. that is contradicted by what the Imms say is condoned good aligned elvish roleplay.
I'm just curious if anyone actually follows the "Imm mold" for roleplay. If anyone actually RP'd a Trib, Outlander, or Battlerager that was averse to hunting down good aligns in opposing cabals or criminals. And if anyone thinks that is how all goods should be played and punished if they do not play them that way.
