I don't think its actually being looted by someone, its more like the fact that hey, three against one, with no way of excape, all heros and him only rank 46 and just getting gang raped and still having his stuff taking, seems like saying 'hey, we can't beat you while you are alone and have your item so instead we will get two others plus me to kill you and still take your things'. I myself think its kinda stupid, but there is a perfectly good argument to it.
