Really? Empire hero ap or necro are very very hard to play and rarely exists. Most of them delete pre-hero, the rest quite fast after becoming hero. While there are at least 2-3 fort paladins who always around
You think so? But pallies, even though they're strong, have no killing power, just damage output and damage reduction. Also, pallies are limited - even with temperance and defiance there's a definite upper limit to their power. Empire has almost no limits on power (cases in point: Ahtieli and Gzurweeg). You gotta admit you two were both really overpowered and it was even worse when you two were rolling together, even though I'll agree with you that it doesn't happen often.
Also, most empire classes have a lot of killing power. Sure, pallies and healers are difficult to kill and relatively simple to play. But I can think of a several different ways that a pally or a healer with their group dies without a chance at killing you. Sleep, summon traps with centurions, cleave/pwk, spamming worldbind until it connects, etc.
Meanwhile, I don't think that these fortie paladins have any way of killing either of you, unless you do something really silly or stupid.

I'm not sure what you've smoked today but that's pure bullshit. Fortress almost always have 1-2 active healers, 1-2 bards, 1 transmuter, and sometimes(quite often) 1 invoker. Empire at best have bard.
Okay, if we assume that fortress has all competent players with those sorts of classes and empire is made up of competent 3 warriors and a bard.... yeah, obviously empire is going to get wiped. But if we assume something more equal... Say, a group of any three fort and a fort healer versus a group of any three empire and an empire healer, I think empire is going to wipe the floor with the forties. Even if the forties were all uber defiance/temperance pallies or whatever powerbuild you'd care to name, I think the empire group has a much higher chance of killing one or two and getting away without dying, even if they were unable to straight out win the fight the first time.
