But the guy actually contridicts himself in his political speeches. Does that not even register as dumb to you?

I actually mentioned that in addition to someone's VOTING record I also took into account a senator's record as a whole, and over the course of time will be picked apart because their views will change as the times do. Like when Huckabee suggested that people with AIDS should be quarantined back in the mid 80s. Many people back then really feared the virus and had similar feelings. And obviously as times change so do people.

Yes, sure it looks dumb but as I said before it's one of the curses of being a senator. That's one of the reasons Gore wasn't elected back in 2000. It wasn't the only reason but it certainly contributed to him losing. And with how tight the race was it would have probably been enough. Think if Gore had won in 2000. He might not have been the best president but it could probably be argued with little opposition that he'd have been better than Bush. You put Obama in 20 years of public national service like Gore and I guarantee you see the same "flip flopping" in both voting record AND in public comments.

So in summary.

People bag on McCain for being a flip flopper.
I explain why one shouldn't entirely dismiss a candidate for what they've said or how they've voted over the course of a long career.
I even provide a link as to why senators are historically not successful.

You refer to him as the fuhrer
Cite analysts who agree with you but provide no link when asked.
Know fuck all about US politics. 1) You thought Ron Paul was the liberal when you made that stupid post awhile back when he's actually a libertarian and started lambasting the American media for using the term as a dirty word. 2) You recently showed ignorance as to why neither Dem candidate campaigned in Florida. 3) You have really no clue as to who John McCain is and think of him as just another Bush lackey when in reality they fucking hate each other and McCain is absolutely no friend to the mainstream GOP. It's called politics. It's how you win elections. You pander to your base so that you get elected and then run your own agenda.

You're a Brit. That's fine. I don't expect you to know the subtleties of US politcs. But you should really shut your cockholster when you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Oh, and if you want to make a cute reply about why I'm responding to your post when I said I wouldn't anymore....I'm a flipflopper.
