She faxed copies of EVERY CHECK she sent them with the wrong account # on them with a note explaining wtf happened.
She also called and asked why they would deposit the checks if the account number was missing digits, They said they never deposited the checks.
So she faxed proof. Her credit score SHOULD still be 701, though they said the turned her into a collections agency in Jan. (They are full of shit, IIRC they can lie all they want).
We have worked goddamn hard to pay our bills on time, and pay extra when applicable. Though if you give them extra without prior notification, the "extra" just goes towards your next payment.
Soooo, 2 and 1/2 years of paying interest, and she owes more than she borrowed. Yikes.
