So... first, learning is easier the lower the skill %? If that is true, then being berserk (-10% per skill) you will learn easier for all of your skills?
I ran around everywhere pre-lvl10 and got jack for points. Then saw this message. At lvl15 I ran around and again and got maybe 1/3 of what I normally would. Just supposed to spend a crazy amount of time repeating your steps over and over again hoping your the right level for another portion of available points? Yet another thing pushing away gamers. How about noone has to level and everyone
Spending countless hours ( which leads into days as my gametime is limited to an hour or two a day) really sucks and limits the fun to be had with numerous classes. Immteraction still brings many rewards and such, of which I should say can be expounded upon with communing classes.
I am thinking of switching ISPs, but found out that data caps are now in place.... ACK!!! I am assuming a very small amount, but real data would be a comfort. I figure I play maybe 10 - 15 hours a week.
It seems the problem most people have with the game comes from immortal interaction. Either they are never there or alot of the mechanics require their interaction to move forward. CF - come down from olympus and let the mechanics play out. Extreme rewards would still be in their hands (forms, weapons, tats). The thing is that they are more about negative reinforcement. I am sure the commoners would step up to the responsibility if they knew that they would have it all stripped from them and publicly thrashed, or given some temporary gimping.

Fundamentaly change how the upper half of the game is handed out. Instead of forcing immteraction for positive gains, allow elder/hero players control all inductions, leader positions, etc. Use NEGATIVE reinforcement when straying from roles, ooc'ing, or being a bad leader. I think to much is required of IMMs to advance the game along which can cause a lot of problems that we see occuring
