I'm OK with AFK kills for the most part, because hey, the guy (or me) shouldn't have been standing there. Pulling out of a PK is essentially acknowleding game mechanics and, if you want to get technical, poor RP. I mean, I'm not gonna get angry that someone chose sportsmanship over RP, but most times I would probably go ahead with the kill. Great sportsmanship can be shown by n
"if the police officer has a reasonable suspicion that the person has committed, is committing, or is about to commit a crime and has a reasonable belief that the person "may be armed and presently dangerous." is not the same as "if they are just walking their dog they'll have to prove it." Not even close.
My personal problem with the law is where does it stop?
I just didn't find it funny. I found it sarcastic, bitter and unconstructive. When you wrote "Missing the joke," I assumed you were looking for a joke in my statement. Hence, "Not a joke," on my part. In my opinion, DB did not win that fight anymore than a few decisions on the part of the combatants and RNG. Also, technically riposte won that fight, which throws off
I mean to say that DB is a skill that CAN win a fight, just like any other skill given the right circumstances. I'm not sure you see it this way because of your irrational hatred for ragers, but whatever. I also think him evading that batter was the game changer. Had he not evaded it, he likely would have died. I also agree with Tesline that he should have stuck with maces and drummed ag
"We are down to two. The weak guy was holding us back, plus, like I said, another one for the record books. Wait, what's that, I hear something... "
The last entry in his journal, mostly filled with hastily written +1's.
You mean "tangible" rewards as a way to measure my e-peen against yours (yours being the community as a whole) on a text based game. Well, in that case:
Here are five of my last eight heroes.
Kyrilos Divumarchos - Shadow Lord and CON, because it sure as shit wasn't my PK ability that got me these things.
Zaahir al-Salil - Scarab, while in Battle. That's right, double ca
Men who have had their names drug through the mud, rightfully or not, all over national media, potentially affecting their ability to earn large sums of money and you having your luck stat set to 3 on a text based internet game is not comparable, like, at all.
Fucking get over it already. I like you, we've had great interactions and some great fights in the past couple years, but fuck me
Once again, I submit my grand scheme.
Trib/Empire join together and take actual control of the cities. Neutral/Evil of all persuasions can join. I've got some ideas about caveats on thieves/assassins/druids/rangers. Take Voralia out of the loop of protected cities.
Take out Nexus and Scion and bring back Masters, sans the push for order, make it about seeking knowledge and proliferat
I also think the only place it gives a real advantage is in chasing. After your first command, you should be able to anticipate the way the fight is going to go and hopefully make the correct choices at the correct times. I will say that I'll use Zmud's previous command buffer and sometimes prep for a fight by typing in a few commands early so I can abbreviate+ up key and shorten thin
However, being good IS different than being a barbarian. I also might add I haven't read the log yet, as I type this, so I'm not speaking on this particular situation but in general. I don't think any cabal should give any special passes to anyone. If you go into the Village, you had to kill a neutral guardian, this is OK as collateral damage, kind of like, an invoker dropping p
Remember that guy? Handed leader of the village at rank 25? Given some rewards so he didn't get assraped. I'm making this post after reading your explosion about Boart having EG too. Listen, shit happens that we don't always agree with, but man, you've been really going after it lately. I also think you would be one person to understand that things look way different from
But I'm not gonna lie, that cartoon that Batman or whoever did was in my mind as I typed that out. That shit slays me every time I think about it. Bonus points if someone can find that post and link it, cause I'm way too lazy to search for it.
Kale was without specs for a number of hours, and eventually got sword back, but not mace. Just checked and I went between 40 and 50 hours with no specs, and scored 4 solo kills and a handfull more during raids/retrievals. Because, even with no specs, you're still a hero rager with resistance/spellbane + path skills. I actually enjoyed the challenge because it makes you PK in unconvention
Having played a couple, including one tatted by Baer, here is my opinion on the matter.
Killing goodie mages is generally OK, however:
- There should be no other mages around.
- You should not be relentlessly hunting them.
- I'm sure you know this, but don't chase them into their cabals.
- If there are other goodies protecting them, do your damndest not to kill the other goodies.
Older game now,but yeah I love it. There are some total conversion mods that are pretty sweet too. One of them is a LOTR total conversion. Pretty nice. If you like that style of game more for the grand strategy aspect, I say pick up EUIII and Crusader Kings also.
"That reality is that American Leadership is selling out to immigrants and people who are fundamentally against the traditional fabric of American life. "
Except you know, the part where America is a land of immigrants and all. The fabric of American life IS the immigrant lifestyle. I expect better from you Pro, you being a student of history and all.
