If we could convict them in our justice system beyond a shadow of a doubt and then take them out back and shoot them or hang them, yeah. But, the wheels of justice are fucked up and broken. So just give them life and find something else to hate eachother for.
>>Reinstatement of old bankruptcy laws.
No idea what the old laws are. Barely any idea what the new ones are.
>>Moratorium on interest and payments for student loans for duration of recession.
Why? Do I get a moratorium on interest and payments for my car loans? My house? You borrowed the money, you pay it back.
>>Tax rate raised on top tier to pre-Bush rates (who,
Or other people's mistakes? People liken this to stealing. If it is legal, and presumably in line with the person's ethics, what is wrong with taking advantage of it? Don't the people who lose money on these things have to read the fine print? That was a huge part of my problem with blaming the whole housing crisis on predatory lenders. I'm not saying there wasn't wr
Right, but uni students don't have DL's? They can't get a state ID? RE: Discourages illegal votes. Umm, good? Right? Isn't that what we want to do? Also, off the top of my head, I can't think of an "illegal" voting block that leans to the right anyway. There may be, again no research, but it doesn't seem like it. Short of voter fraud of course, whic
Again, I have done no research, other than what I have heard on NPR about what is going on. What exactly is the point of this protest? Lower executive salaries? Tighter regulation? More taxes on the rich? To me, it sounds very much like this.... "WAAAAAA!!! Those guys on Wall Street who got finance degrees and real jobs and work hard are making money because they understand economics
Why? Before I go into this, I have yet to do any research whatsoever. Therefore no facts back up my statements. Also, I am very much playing devil's advocate. Moving on. Why does it discourage left leaning voters? Is that because they aren't citizens? Nope, can't vote if you're not a citizen, so that's not it. Is it because they don't want to go down to the D
Was a ranger whose friend got killed by some duergar. I then proceeded to try and call on everyone I could find to kill that duergar. He killed my friend!!! Then I had Sailus in a few incarnations, was a thief who started the Syndicate. First actually successful character was Igsoeh.
For your, I've always found kicks go up alright as you rank. But then I noramlly play arial or d-elf assassins. The only one I ever would get backed up on was mule kick, because my preffered ranking spot for mule kick is a little tough for a lvl 21 assassin to handle. I think you're getting a little shaft from RNG, or you're playing a felar... Haha, in which case my only advice
Which is the reason that I've always had this feeling in the back of my head that there is some build for which this legacy would pwn faces. I just can't figure out what build that is.
Got this idea because I always seek out the toughest fights, at least until I'm sure that I can't win, because I want to improve. To me, its all about the potentiial for glory, which may explain why I'm a serial RBW player.
Given your choice of race/class/cabal, which of the toughest characters in the game would you want to face most?
For me, I'd want Tavlin with a stor
In a totally randomized selection, I'd least want to fight one of the Nexus bards.
1. I have never played a mage class, a shaman, a druid or a thief to hero, so I might get seriously worked over.
2. Bards match up well against most classes, so my chances for getting "the bard killer" are pretty low.
Other times, particularly when I find myself reading the comments after news articles on CNN, or Yahoo; I want renounce my citizenry and move to Mongolia. People are fucking dumb.
Any of you russian guys know an author by the name of Nicholas Kalashnikoff? He was a revolutionary turned author that fled through Mongolia and China after the Bolsheviks came to power. He wrote a bunch of stories about life in Siberia, among them Jumper (about a horse), Defender (about some sheep), and two of my favorite books Toyon (about a dog) and They That Take the Sword. The last one is
While you personally are not abusing the "spirit" of the rule, there are too many out there that do. So this is something they have to be hardass about. It would be great if we/they could just trust everyone to play by the rules and not have to worry about it, but, there are folks out there who won't, and so we all have to suffer somewhat for it.
If I were a berserker, I might try a simple murder to start, immediate bloodthirst, impale (for the bleeding), then pincer spam for the win. I know what you're saying though, any advantage you might get. He's just a tough fight any way you look at it.
From some of you ranger players out there. Feasability of this? Mostly I'd do it for the RP, and I think I understand the drawbacks of an elf pretty well. Low hp, and iron vuln being the obvious big ones. Defensively is there much of an advantage here? Sneak is always cool. I was thinking either rager, of course, or fort. The thing is, I have the feeling that an elf ranger would need
But when I was playing Isidoros, he could have shrugged all that off. Hell, I had a set where I could shrug off all his dagger maledicts and boneshatter, and he was better geared than I was. And he still won.
