Honestly, I really don't take it at all personally that there are idiots in the world. I usually just shake my head and say to myself "Wow, those people are fucking morons." Then I go on about my day. They absolutely have the right to say whatever they want, and I have the right to ridicule them for their foolishness. As for your last statement....
"You are an idiot. &q
I think the fact that he believes a woman's body can just shut down a pregnancy is far more egregious than the legitimate rape thing. I mean, "legitimate rape" is bad, but not at all surprising from someone trying to politic his way through a conversation. We justify bullshit with wordsmithing all the time. But a woman's body can shut down the pregnancy, because its rape?
I'm just trying to get Graatch to play. I know he won't, but it's worth a shot. I'm back to playing morts so I want all you grumpy old vets to play too. Call me selfish.
An old AOIC (assisstant officer in charge) of mine, obviously has too much time on his hands. Pretty good reads and fairly entertaining. I don't agree with a lot of the things he has to say, but I do like the way he says it. There is a series of "America" posts back from the beginning of this year that went viral and were in the news cycle a bit.
I feel pretty much the same way you do, but I think for different reasons. I don't think its the president so much as it is the Congress. But, for the sake of discussion....
>>Which candidate is going to disband the TSA?
None, and why should they? I think the TSA is an excellent idea. I do think it is an epic fail in its current incarnation, but in security, having consistency
I remember being fairly excited about the whole election process last time, because, even though I mostly supported McCain, I thought that either way we would get a president who would fight the establishment and change the way things got done. Then, during McCain's campaign in particular; I just gradually lost all sense of hope. The real McCain didn't come back until his concession s
It's really a pretty solid city. I just hate cities in general. Would way rather be in Montana. I will say I vastly prefer the winter here as opposed to the summer. Super hot weather can S my C.
>>There's lots of kinds of voter fraud. Some forms of voter fraud disproportionately favor one party/ideology. Illegal immigrants, for example, will tend to vote liberal. Votes cast by dead people, I believe, tend to be more evenly distributed. There are many different types of voter fraud for which additional legislation could have been written to combat. However, the particular type
I recently took a criminal justice class and I was led to believe that the majority (nearly all) of the cases where a minority was quickly executed and there may be some shadiness were in the "Old South". California, for example has, on the word of a pretty high ranking guy in the SD Sheriff's Department, never, ever, had a death penalty conviction overturned. Apparently, there a
Stop bringing your reasonable, fact supported arguments to this board... By the way, I didn't watch the video because I have a limit on my internets usage. Damn you Verizon. I think I understand why Wall Street was a major contributor by taking silly risks, and fixing books, and generally doing whatever it took to make a quick buck. I think I understand that it was a Wild West, gold rush,
Man, those people should bring you onboard to help get the message out. I'm still not buying this whole "the top 1% control everything" angle, but I definitely agree that the assholes in congress need to be dealt with. I'm definitely not saying there doesn't need to be change, there does. We need changes in campaign finance, lobbyists, the tax code, entitlements and so
You are making money. How are you specifically wronging individuals? Casinos make money on other people's misery. Some sports teams arguably make money on other people's misery. Hospitals make money on other people's misery. I'm sure there are a whole slew of industries that make their money on misery. Is it morally wrong? Maybe, but that's open to interpretation.
