I became a software developer, and married a girl that's awesome this time, so life is good right now, even on the hard days. Trying to find something fulfilling for my spare time is the biggest struggle I'm having lately.
Just been doing a lot and haven't had the energy to try and get invested back in CF and then get stuck not being able to make it better again. I always get too invested in trying to make it better, get shut down, and then just end up feeling bitter, so I stayed away from playing and just snoop the forums sometimes.
I've got a server I can host it on for free, but it'll be my home computer, but if you guys wanna build an open source CF, I'm down. I was thinking about taking Evennia and modifying it to have the same feel as CF, but I don't know which would be easier. That one above is literally running with two commands, even though it's written in C. Evennia would probably be
I am legitimately looking to buy CF and put it back in the hands of people who aren't elitist and are willing to manage it openly and more lightheartedly. If you continue to buy PBFs, the current owners have incentive not to sell, because it costs less to run CF when people are funding it.
Yes, this is a legitimate effort to undermine the current operators of CF, and I'm okay with
Really was trying to get back interested, but my play times are so few and far between that I couldn't get a feel for anything politics wise, or events wise. Ended up just hunting wands sometimes and gearing people, which got super boring after a while.
Alligator makes me happy.
Croc is a calm "rant".

I could not take the front as the crocodile unless I had so
Can't figure out what this is...?
You open the Deck of Fate.
You draw the card of The High Priestess from the Deck of Many Things.
You feel a sudden rush of insight.
I'd do it with two classes - classes that could hide, and classes that needed to spam.
Even with a good carrier, you're going to see spikes in latency that will end your PK chances - so you definitely risk that at any second - but my experience with my current carrier has been pretty darn good (T-Mobile).
Or so I thought.
During interviews, I was hired to report to our director, and be a second manager for the shift leading a few engineers. I go in to meet the team, and the other manager instantly starts trying to dick measure, which I politely distance myself from - I'm the new guy after all. He tells me I'm going to be reporting to him now, not the director who I was hired to work
A four person summon gank by Reegun, Piktazu, Altariel, and Celent, with a bit of quicksand from Iulifagtron.
You can all five eat a big bag of dicks, because you know damn well that's not fun for anyone but you - and honestly I don't understand how that IS fun for you. "Hey guys, let's all sit and wait, then summon someone who's in our PK range and ALL FOUR KILL THEM!
Bought all the stuff myself and put it together from scratch. I'm not gonna pay some dick-jockey $300-$400 dollars to put together some "Plug this in here" stuff. I woulda spent a lot more for the same system if I did that. :P
There may be a business opportunity here for you to start your own call center as long as you don't have a no-competition clause in your contract. My dad always used to say that it's stupid as hell to be the frog in the road trying to stop a truck. If it's just going to blaze over you and not get fixed, but you'd get fired/screwed if you tried to fix it - then morally there&
"real" computer:
i7 4790K (4.0GHz)
32 Gb decently clocked RAM
GeForce 970 (4GB ram)
500GB solid state drive.
I bought it for development (running 2+ VMs at the same time, and being able to render 3d models well) but it just so happens that it's great for gaming. :D A side effect that was aimed for - but I looked at the games and I think I'm gonna check out Dark Souls
What's worth playing that actually needs a real computer to play it?
I even have a backlit keyboard - I feel so awesome and lonely at the same time it's ridiculous.
Currently playing Saints Row 4, Diablo 3, Borderlands (all of 'em), Skyrim, and just started far cry 4.
What else is there that I should try out?
