How does it work? Cancel each other out so that there is zero extra damage? Or does protection from metals actually give you giant type resist against metal weapons?
Anyone know any % numbers?
I'm not trying to be a negative nancy and this is not a "CF sucks" post. I really like CF, but lately, I've just been getting bored. A lot of the immortals with whom I've interacted in the past on pretty consistent basis are inactive. I see less variety in the hero PK range. I see a lot more level sitting (which, I understand, is a viable PK strategy, but meh). I fin
Healer: 100% survivability but you cannot kill much on your own. I learned CF initially with two healers - Vythigor and Artenno.
Transmuter: After you know a bit about the mechanics, my highest learning curve about areas was with a transmuter. At level 36 with duo, you can learn a lot of areas including many area explores. I could kill Lord Kiadana solo with my first transmuter with havin
I got a svirf caverndweller ranger to 30 something years ago and it was pretty decent. (This was before the caverndweller explorer ambush bug was fixed.) Vuln blunt is nasty but at the same time 22str is nice. That said, I've always thought felars made the best all around rangers.
To be honest, if you want to try a ranger to 51, I would go with felar survivalist/forester. Widest range
Yep, makes sense. My setup is very similar. Harmonica as well. The heals are for 82-87 or so, that said I have not kept too close track, I just know it's in the 80s.
Bard, 23 chr, comedic repertoire preferred, sings in comedic repertoire, tipsy, uses high end comedic instrument. Healing for about 80-85hp per elven adagio. Is that right? (I'm hearing stories of elven bards singing for 100-150 per elven adagio.)
My approach has always been to put people who are new to the game but that join Trib in Seantryn for a while, so they get used to cabal warfare, etc. I promoted people who knew their stuff out of it pretty quickly. Goodies got Voralian. Evils got Hamsah. Galadon was always given for people who defended/retrieved a lot.
Marcatis will need to approve a promotion but will generally be very defferential to Provost's recommendation. Vythigor-Shalsad had some very interesting (from RP perspective) Provost-Vindicator tension. At the end of the day, Vythigor could not really boot Shalsad but could certainly do it if he convinced Marcatis.
There is a new system now in place put in by Grobbak (Delad) which Valk
This is generally right, but Justiciar/Vindicator at least in theory trump Provost in their areas of expertise - Justiciar in interpretation of laws, Vindicator in apprehending criminals. In practice, they are equal to the Provost in their areas of expertise.

I played it for about 3-6 months, it was a bit too much of a zerg fest for me. No real sense of guild community either. I prefer WoW which I have not played for at least 10 months now, after a three year stint.
I find that after getting to early 40s, the push from early 40s to 51 is just so tedious even with a character that does not have many enemies. Flyto shifters, inability of so many classes/races to go under water for spirits, reluctance to go level in Thar Acacia... all... combined... just make it boring. No, I don't want level 51 on a stick, but I've hit a wall with a number of group

PM me, I did a lot of testing on Naqnoq (there used to be a school of thought that detect artifact DETECTS ANY MAGE'S WAND - that theory is incorrect).
Modern Warfare 1 was certainly the most addictive in depth first person shooter I played (I used to be a Halo fan until I got converted to MW1 overnight). MW2 which I played for a few hours last night (it came out yesterday) takes MW1 and expands it. Very very very cool heart pumping multiplayer action. (I don't think I'll ever play single player.) Certainly worth checking out.
Am I correct that it shortens the "cool down" period after a fight in order to sleep by one hour? (So it goes from two hours to one?) Are there any further edges to reduce the cool down period?
