There are still many, many manufacturing jobs in the world as a whole. We haven't been anywhere nearly completely replaced by robots and the efficiency gain should be going into our yield. However - because of our trade and tax policies we have not wiped out these jobs but simply moved them outside of this country.
It's similar to the conservation easement policy where the governme
Thought of this after I posted the other post but felt it was worth mentioning -
Clinton's plan of 'enforcing the tax laws better' won't achieve anything good for the country because big businesses aren't breaking any laws in doing what they are doing. The most common lawbreakers around hiring are small mom-and-pop businesses. Big business isn't hiring illegally
Honestly - re-negotiating our trade deals to me is almost a moral imperative. The lack of skilled labor jobs in the USA really hurts our society as a whole. Over the years I've come to believe that people are naturally adept at certain types of work - happy doing certain types of jobs. For some people, it's being a doctor and for others, it's building a chair. When people can
All these responses of "I would've cursed people out a long time ago" - give me a break. It's pointless. It's counter productive. The people running the game really don't need it to have random drama all the time. If you don't like someone's post delete it and move on.
There's no games out there or even open source projects I've seen where
The last time I cared about this game is when I had friends I used to regularly chat with here. Without that there's no reason to be here. At least for me there isn't. This isn't a chess tournament with grand champions - this is just a text based roleplaying game. There's no prize money here or anything.
Many of the damage reduction preps are annoying to keep on hand as a potion-only user. Did they ever make skins harder to farm?
My problem with Orcs vs RBW is the RBW is better in many cases and even when it's not it requires significantly less time than an orc does. Orcs get the double whammy of taking for-fucking-ever to perfect stuff plus having to prep anally for every fight.
The improve rate (my understanding) isn't affected by temporary changes to skill % however since you fail more you have more opportunities to learn from mistakes which levels the skill faster.
Village has always and will always be the most newbie-friendly cabal thanks to removing multiple classes of resources you'd normally need to manage and dramatically simplifying your gearing strategy. Village anything tends to be very powerful and deathful for half the effort. I didn't read the thread you're referring to - just putting that out there.
That being said...tanking only gets you so much. So you're super tanky against melee damage, get destroyed by spells unless you evade them and don't have any real means of keeping people engaged...what's the value in that?
Would rather play a paladin if being tanky was all I was going for and do a lot more damage without all the restrictions.
The *only* thing I liked about h
This game is just filled with narcissistic assholes at this point. Don't get me wrong, I'm probably one too (though I'm not playing these days) - but it's not like these forums are where that impression is going to come from ;).
For a lot of games at least. CF, with how painful and permanent dying is - isn't one of them though if you happen to get ganked down and DB'd randomly. I'd be cool with dying if the game wasn't so harsh on it in terms of power lost.
His heart being 22lbs is a freak occurrence - I feel like if it was from the steroids it wouldn't be that uncommon because giving anabolic steroids to horses wasn't illegal until 2008.
Look map is totally legit - don't think anyone thought about the whole north galadon vs south galadon thing.
Finding your guild master is also a pain when you're that new.
Kinda makes you wonder if there's really any value in having to physically go to the guild master to practice skills - or sticking hooded mobs around galadon (should just do 'the gods protect' whe
Reliance on ABS and a weak ability to get them solo. The zombie army thing is actually not that good - I never went out of my way to get more than one or two zombies the rest just come in time or don't.
They've always been one-trick sleep ponies - nothing new here.
