Usually books into film/tv I'm pretty disappointed with. But this television adaptation seems to have remained true to the books. I felt that they were enjoyable for those who have read the books, but also it wasn't so complex that someone would feel lost without knowing the story. One thing to note. When reading it I never pictured so many boobies. Hooray for HBO with that.by Lokain - OT Board
If you look at some of my logs that I posted as Oringus there are two fights where I think it specifically gave me the advantage in killing someone or getting away. Keep in mind -at least from my experience- that it will do nothing against non-melee attacks. So if you're fighting invokers it has basically no value, and you're still going to get hammered by a flurry, pincer, or drumby Lokain - Main Board
There is a pretty hefty lag on it, and you can't do it while in combat. The major value to it while fighting undead is nuking their army, you're not going to make the PC scream and run for the hills.by Lokain - Main Board
Prepare for it to be boring. I'm pretty sure I won a few fights because of it, and it also saved my ass a few times as well. But there are zero echoes for it, you just have to assume it's working when your hp changes from white to a different color.by Lokain - Main Board

It's super easy once you get the hang of it. And since it's the most used client for CF if you have questions you can post on the script board for help.by Lokain - Main Board

the only thing different is that it might show a greater distance between your top two types. There is a great book by Helen Palmer (hook it up Batman!) that goes into very detailed theories behind each of the types; like how we behave when we're doing well vs how we'll behave when things are "not so hot". When I read the sections about my types it almost felt like it wasby Lokain - OT Board
About 10 years ago I met someone who introduced me to the enneagram. It's kind of like an expanded personality test, and seems kind of like astrology on the surface, but it's not based on star charts or any shit like that. It's actually kind of cool and a little telling. You can take a short test here It's a small test, but it's usually accurate. If you payby Lokain - OT Board

So any weapon choice is going to be a problem. If you get disarmed or are too weak to wield anything you can always use your hands to fight or to stun and run. Paul Ott's char Punblinpo took daggers and h2h and was relatively successful as I recall. But he took the wand zapping legacy.by Lokain - Main Board
I ran into that when I was a Mac user as well. I also used Rapscallion and found it to be the best of the mac based mudding clients. However, what I think I would do in your case is to find a way to run CMUD through your Mac using virtual pc or whatever the hell it's called.by Lokain - Main Board

A warrior without preps is going to be meat in a lot of situations. There is virtually no way to be a "top tier" warrior pker if you're not using preps. A warrior without fly and stone skin can be successful, sure. But to be in the elite class (as in not dying a lot and killing a lot) you're going to have to at least have fly and stone skin. After that the secondary prepby Lokain - Main Board
