A large portion of the player base has a desire to join the Immortal staff and contribute back to CF. To give back to the game. However, a large portion of the player base does not know exactly what to expect from the Immortal staff - they do not know what it is that makes a "good immortal" and "successful immortal". I can say that I, myself, had little idea what to expect in my brief stint. This log illustrates what sort of qualities and contributions the Immortal staff is looking for, and lets the rising player base know what to expect, should they manage to carry out their Immortal dreams. I think that is what the forum is all about: demystifying that which does not need to be mystified about a quality game. That being said, I doubt that was the intention of "someone." I'm sure "someone" saw this as an attack, whereas I see some semblance of value in educating CF players without exchanging any ingame secrets or information or dealing in any sort of assassination, at all.
