If it makes u feel any better, it took me 3 outlanders to figure it out completely, and I still haven't found all the spots for the herbs and such. Just keep asking IC about it. Preferably from the Warden side of the Tree. Eventually, someone will take you under their wing. But mostly, it's supposed to be difficult and require a lot of time.

Ancient instincts

You get inducted in outlander. You look around wilderness areas for totems that increase your ancient instincts % by a substantial bit every time you see one.
