Stealth + trip is pretty effective

Most people that rely on potions don't pop fly potions consistently, only when they know there is a fight. This means lots of targets are able to be tripped initially.
You can't jump someone with a throw.
The assassin or thief has the ability to surprise the victim.
Open with trip, and if they're flying, nothing really lost since it won't work and combat won't initiate (I think). If it lands, go to town.
Maybe Jalim likes it because it is an opening move that lags the person, and if that person has stacked a few movement commands, even better.
It also allows you to chase and reengage with a lag move for sealing people that do get off a flee.

Throw may be better situationally, but trip is also quite deadly to certain people. Just not maran, arials, clouds, transmuters, druids, conjurers (unless archons lost the fly supp along with healers) and outlanders presumably have windwalk up and anyone that can out tank you.

Man, throw needs stripped from assassins.

JEsus fucking hcrist I'm so tired of all your mechanic-change suggestions relating to limiting character move sets to tripping, hitting, and dipping n/t

Stevers January 18, 2017 06:23AM

I know you are being dramatic but...

Quas January 18, 2017 05:22PM

It's like you view other people's posts as pieces of paper for you to write a diary entry on. n/t

Stevers January 19, 2017 05:44AM

Murphy January 17, 2017 03:17AM

Trip gets more kills than throw.

jalim January 17, 2017 06:53AM

I must be missing something here.

zannon January 17, 2017 10:55AM

I get the idea from Jalim that he means if someone is writhing he'll pick trip over throw.

Rhyaldrin January 17, 2017 11:22AM

1 round lag on a missed trip. Why Jalim likes it :) NT

Sam January 17, 2017 10:56AM

There's one round lag on a missed throw too. (n/t)

Rhyaldrin January 17, 2017 11:03AM

Murphy January 16, 2017 04:32PM

Rhyaldrin January 16, 2017 04:31PM

Sam January 16, 2017 05:55PM

Rhyaldrin January 16, 2017 03:37PM

Hey, nice to see you again too faggot.

TripHitNdip January 16, 2017 03:53PM

Murphy January 16, 2017 04:16PM

It was some good natured ribbing trip don't be a voretexmagus.

Rhyaldrin January 16, 2017 04:07PM

And I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Rhyaldrin January 16, 2017 04:08PM

Umiron seemed in agreement that they should lose hide in mountains/hills, or something like that. NT

Sam January 16, 2017 04:28PM

That would help too.

Rhyaldrin January 16, 2017 04:31PM
