Nobody wants to dedicate time anymore because the majority of players they would interact with now are power-gamey whiners who, for some reason, have not stopped playing. I imagine a little kid who whines (when an audience is around) about having to eat his vegetables because they are gross, but, when no one is looking, likes to place an eggplant between two brussels sprouts and suck it off until it ejaculates nutrition into his little throat.

I swear you weren't ESL before. What happened? By the way, this is an awful idea. If EP are given out at the same intervals, then we've just lost one of the big incentives to writing good roles and RPing. If anything, you should have suggested a way to revisit EP distribution, rather than suggesting they do not exist -- something I had to infer, because your idea for a "flat metric" made no sense. A "flat metric" implies there is no distance among any items in the set needing the metric. Without distance, what's the point of a metric? Perhaps you meant a "constant" and not a "flat metric".

2) Autodeletion is removed. People that can only play very short amounts have no incentive trying to play a character when it will just autodelete. Here's an idea: Quit being a whiny baby and you'll have friends to play with in game, as well. Be better than them and you can get the gear. We should encourage friends to play together, rather than give them reasons why they aren't allowed. Do you want more players, or less? I'm confused now.

This is a bad idea. Do you understand incentives at all? Here's your pitch for bringing in new players: "Welcome to Carrion Fields! If you want to fill the fields with carrion, you're in luck! With our new system, you can kill people as frequently as you like and enjoy the luxuries of tracking those stats all on you're own. Carrion Fields, where you count the carrion so we don't have to."

PK stats stay. Even non-PK oriented players (the one or two heralds) enjoy seeing their PK stats.

Right, because we really need someone that doesn't play to tell us how to bring in hordes of players, then only promise to play if we make one change (for him, specifically) to the game. You didn't even give a reason for this one, so I'm not going to bother with a real response.
