"Clearly you are someone who won't play again ever but the game means something to you else you wouldn't be reading the forums. "
I'm not picking on this statement, but it opens a poignant look at why many of us still return to this forum: The number of communities with any semblance of intellectual discourse, and especially those with some form of established common experience, is shrinking more rapidly than an exposed erection in a Minnesota blizzard. The explosion of social media and the dizzying array of interactions offered have shrunken the average human span of attention beyond the already-miserable state it existed in during my youth. Why do we come here and talk in boring ol' text when there are so many options to customize the extrusions of our ego for more palatable consumption? Perhaps some of us still remember a time when words had meaning, when life was not dependent on status updates, and when the novelty of an online gaming community took more than average abstract capacity to enjoy.
All this being said, I would fully support a CF Month. Who knows, it may re-kindle the fire for some.
Love to all.
