I'm one of the original (well, second round) of imms from the game's launch. I was never a big coder like Jullias or Zhulg, but I have a ton of development, design, and creative touches I've contributed over the years. I do not want my work entering the public domain, at least as long as Carrionfields is still online.

Yes, I haven't done anything creatively with the game in 10+ years, but that's still my share of intellectual property which I happily donated to make Carrionfields better. I didn't release it so people could disassemble the game and learn how to gain an advantage over other players, or run their own pirate version of the game.

Have some respect for the authors and coders that have made the game what it is, and quit trying to act like you have some right to own the game because you've played it years. If you want that kind of in-depth knowledge and access, work your way into the heroimm ranks and earn that privilege like the rest of us did. It isn't that hard.
