Do I think this guy would have my number? Sure thing, if he kicked me around ever time we met, I sure would. But boy would I totally be jones over him if I killed him even once, and he never killed me. Don't tell me you wouldn't either. That who, "You tried your best to kill me and never did, but I got you!" You know that's the way a lot of people would look at it. That is unless you really think the game is about making people run and not about killing them. Then sure you would be right. But if that were the case, then I bet the imms would have found a way to track it to show the statistic. And you would see a whole lot more logs with people just makin them run. But you don't.
So let me ask this more simply.
Two builds, exactly the same, say Human Dex/Dagger warriors. One good, One Evil. Heck lets even throw in that one is Maran, and the Other Elite Blade. Both played by equally skilled opponents. Both RP their alignements exactly the way that they should. The Goodie never attacks a neutral that isn't doing bad things(IE killing elves), he doesn't kill Neutral Sentient NPC's for Gear or Gold. The Evil, plays evil. Does what needs to get done to advance himself. Make alliances with anyone he needs to to gain in power. Kills anyone that gets in his way, etc....
Now project for me the PK counts at the end of 600 hours for each of these people. Be fair and use the stats that Valg has posted. Or just even look at target ratios. Evil has a potential of 100% targets in the game. Assuming that evil outweighs the other two aligns, say 50% to 25%, and 25%, Best case is that a goodie has half the number of real targets give or take.
Do I think that there are builds that will trash a good number of other builds out there? Sure do. With the exception of the classes that require a good align(Paladin), I can't think of any that a goodie has the upperhand over an evil in game mechanics. Sure Goodies can request, but take a look at Galnor. They have to be careful and use a lot more RP when requesting items, or it gets taken away. What else do Goodies have to balance out the fact that evil has a much more relaxed set of RP restrictions?
