ignored 90% of Dwoggurd post just because it does not suit your idea :P
It would be cool if you actualy commented that "skipped" part.
Generally, overall I ignored 90% of his post because it had nothing to do with whether PK stats could be used to help determine pwnage.
Specifically:
I ignored the raid/retrieval part about "me assuming too much" because it's pretty clear that there are limitations to the raid/retrieval tangibles that the PBF keeps track of. Sure, if we were able to live in Dwoggurd's mind where raiding/retrieving against serious opposition were measured in PBFs differently than raiding/retrieving against creampuff or no opposition, those PBF numbers would be potentially valuable. But that dwoggurd world doesn't exist. The PBFs we have don't segregate raid/retrieval stats in a meaningful way. So I don't think it's useful, and I didn't think I had to explain that to dwoggurd.
I ignored the 10-5 "ran alot" guy vs. the 10-5 "made people run alot" guy because I don't think running away is a PK loss, and I don't think how many times someone runs away as a meaningful measure of pwnage to anyone but dwoggurd .. maybe. I remember he mentioned that forcing him to burn a prep counted as "winning" for the guy that did it. Of course, that guy ended up dead/looted. So I'm not sure he or anyone else really views it the same way as dwoggurd. I mean, I view it as if the other guy runs away, I failed. The whole point of the game is to PK your enemy.
I ignored the fortress bard/muter/invoker/warrior part because as we all know, mages CAN join empire and there have been a few pwning mage imperials. The only classes that can join fortress that can't join empire are rangers and paladins. If we're going to talk about some ideal fortress gank, we should apply the same approach to the ideal imperial gank.

Also you are always forget that evils have more targets than goodies. So when you look for goodies pk records you should x2 or x3 them in order to compare with evil. But I'm pretty sure you are going to keep ignoring it.
Explain what you mean here. So I'm clear, I looked at the fortress heroes' evil align PK wins/loss. And I looked at the empire heroes good align PK wins/losses. So we would be comparing apples to apples. If I used their total wins/losses, the disparity would be far worse. Can you explain what you mean, and how that would impact these numbers. And for the record, whether you agree these numbers provide a reasonable assessment of pwnage.
