...oddly enough, it's the same advice I'd give others. Just try to focus on the people who actually mattered to the character - namely, the other characters I interacted with. Sure, Scion gets the absolute shaft in the interaction department, but that's because Baer doesn't (at least "yet") value the things that are emphasized in that cabal. If she doesn't throw in the towel, she'll catch on eventually.
Honestly I think her inability to connect well with killer Scions is because she didn't come up the same way as the players who gravitate to that cabal. As for me, when I started the game I thought that if you could be a Scarab you were a badass, and this was mostly accurate. It took a lot of hard knocks to get up the skills to be respected in that cabal (well, religion at the time). After Scion came in, it became another, similar outlet for that. Basically, I think it helps to be a good PK'er in addition to RP'ing well to appreciate the Scions. Sure, this could be said of most cabals but I think it is even more important there. Again, I went off point. I can't help myself.
