With all the emphasis on whistle-blowing in the media and the public arena, you could write up a paper on the process and submit it to major news organizations, depending on NDA's you might have. Contact local networks, popular blogs, forums, go on local radio, etc. and basically forsake your job and stand up for your beliefs- have the courage of your convictions. Nothing generates social and political credibility like a crusade to protect the common man (and in this case the skilled, educated worker, even better). That kind of publicity can't be bought. Snowball this into a book, a cable access/radio show, and a political campaign. At the peak (whenever that is) of your exposure, begin taking offers for sponsorship. You will have to play the game if you want to play the game, just to get that clear ahead of time. But you can also be a force for good on the inside. If that is anything like to your motivation, sir, then I wish you all the luck in the world.
