So let me ask you this..
If it were any other person in baseball acting as Commissioner, would the steroid issue have solved itself?
I'm not saying Selig is a saint, but I think anyone remotely familiar with what's happened the last 5-10 years would say Donald Fehr is MUCH more at fault than any other single individual. Including Selig.
Selig was essentially handicapped by the MLBPA, not to mention the Owners. Obviously he knew it was going on. So did everyone else who was paying attention. But knowing about something, and having the opportunity to act on it are two different things.
