You misunderstand the citation about lactic acid. The soreness they are talking about us during training, for example that feeling when you take a light weight and do tons of repetitions. It has nothing to do with DOMS.

We are going to get in serious trouble if you keep this up.

Anyway, I did look up a bit more about lactic acid. You were more correct, there's been more research since I last looked in to it.

About creatine you can look at the wikipedia-page
WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO US
Quote
wow you must want us to be shut down
and follow the citations or just search on pubmed. You can also explain what you mean by "adding bulk", yes you bind some more water to your muscles but it is not like you add fat or anything.

Endurance training does not build strength unless you are incredibly weak/untrained to start with. That is why it is called endurance training.

And I look forward to see your citations on Glutamine.

"adding bulk" has nothing to do with fat. It makes your muscles bulkier, "bind some more water to your muscles" is what I'm talking about. Creatine has a largely asthetic effect, in that it makes your muscles look bigger

Endurance training does build strength. First of all, if you do endurance training with weights, it is still lifting weights. Lifting weights does make you stronger, don't you dare try to talk me out of thinking that. Say you're doing 4 x 12 at X weight. Eventually, the X weight isn't providing enough of a workout. Change to Y weight, which is higher (maybe just by 5 - 10 lbs). You still do an endurance rep set (4 x 12), and the increased weight is going to add strength benefits.

cenatar March 28, 2012 12:47PM

Matrik March 28, 2012 12:55PM

How, then, is glutamine useful for surgery? n/t

Stevers March 28, 2012 12:54PM

I don't know but I'm sure you can email some researcher and ask (n/t)

cenatar March 28, 2012 01:06PM

You're the one that brought it up.

Stevers March 28, 2012 01:07PM

You

cenatar March 28, 2012 01:11PM

It's not so much the smell,

Matrik March 28, 2012 01:12PM

Poor Cenatar still doesn't get it. n/t

Stevers March 28, 2012 01:15PM

Glutamine is especially important for determining whose butt is whose.

Matrik March 28, 2012 12:56PM

I can see how this would be useful post-surgery. n/t

Stevers March 28, 2012 12:58PM

Sigh, stop posting so fast and without indicators. You're messing up the count. Now it has to start over. (n/t)

Matrik March 28, 2012 12:59PM

No it doesn't. You said you were keeping count, I thought that meant I didn't have to. n/t

starbright March 27, 2012 04:48PM

I can vouch for a lot, here.

Splntrd March 27, 2012 11:12AM

This is because of the lactic acid.

Engurd March 27, 2012 09:29AM

Wow, excellent post.

Stevers March 27, 2012 09:46AM

Muscle ache is normal, especially when you first start a routine. It means your muscles are rebuilding.

Jib March 27, 2012 07:41AM

This is true.

DurNominator(VIP) March 27, 2012 08:01AM

silly metric

Quas March 27, 2012 06:25AM
