If your cabal is hurting the least you could do is not screw over bloodoaths. Demanding the one good piece of equipment from an underling under threat of anathema is an extremely crappy thing to do.
Don't worry, gave the amulet of clarity to someone else before deleting. I'll think of something else to roll or just wait for a better time to roll the build again.
The last rager I played, about a month or two ago the policy on mage kills was:
1 mage kill makes you a pledge and can join scout or defender with the same kill, just need the interviews/talks, being on constantly and on the hunt helps a lot on the induction.
3 mage kills total including the one to pledge can let you become a berserker+ the same interview process as the others.

Thank you that helped a lot.
At first I read starbright's multiple target alias and I was terrified at the complexity of the coding.
But then I read that link and it's very simple, just a little bit different (basically its one character for the beginning of a sentence and another for the end of sentence and things like those) and it seemed simple enough, no offense to starbright
Tried playing with the options in mudlet, but nothing helped.
What did the trick was using the "telnetga" command in game, FYI in case anyone ever suffers from the same problem.
Good thing I vaguely remembered there was a command like that.
I noticed that there is some kind of weird lag everytime I input a command, anyone knows how to fix it on mudlet?
For example, I do "Look", I see the room description and then one second later the prompt appears. And its like that with every command.
Mudlet it is.
Anyone can direct me to some badass alias/mods/color scripts? for mudlet
Thanks for the suggestions by the way, Mudlet does look cool and so far so good.
Just installed windows 10 from 8 and it basically rendered Cmud useless. Tried compatibility mode and it was still shit.
So, what do you guys recommend to mud in that works with windows 10?
Preferably something friendly, not fighting with commands like in wintin.
To further improve the situation.
What gives more commerce exp?.
Buying stuff with haggle (does having vs not having haggle influences the exp?) vs bartering for everything.
I am having trouble getting enough commerce exp.
I did a search on the forums and people basically suggest among other things to barter for food, etc.
This leads to my question, can I spam barter cheap stuff to get some delicious commerce exp?. Or do you get more commerce exp if you use high value stuff for bartering?
I don't know the guy OOC I have never spoken or had any interaction. But in game I was a fire ap in the empire and he was the same on one of his super powerful aps. He showed me a bunch of stuff, helped me get geared and stuff. I am very grateful to the player.
It was funny that when other players saw me equipped and asked me about how I got those items, they began throwing veiled insinua
What is the lightest boat that is easy to purchase/pick up?. Non magical if possible.
Added bonus, I've had the model ship and it's badass but where/how do you get it?
Anyone could drop some clues on where to get some word of recall potions as a lowbie outlander pledge?
I have found a TON of wildy vendors of recall pots, but as a lowbie I cant get/scavenge anything that's worth the around 3000 that they usually cost.
Best stuff that I have found is the gem in the campfire for around 1200. I searched the forum and found a bunch of low cost stuff to ba
You and Frosty are a 100% with the mace and landslide.
It would probably be better sword axe, striking and something else nice. Because of your points with skullcrusher and redundancy.
Oh and I was just trying to be as generic as possible so as not to shout at the world "Here is an easy kill!". hehehehe, but I definitely see your point, that it would be easier to help me that way.
What was the imm drama specificaly with cyradia, Iunna and Zhulg (why did he really leave?). Seems you seem to be in the know, I've always been curious.

So I have tried several times to follow Starbright's guide for a sword spec giant warrior. And I've had a mixture of the following results:
1.-Fought a very dexy char and they dodged the hell out of me, even with weapons mastered and using swords. And I got owned. (arial/halfy assassin being the most common)
2.-Fought another char with better eq than me and I got outgunned even th

Harry Potter series: bestselling series in the world I think. Very entertaining, some plot holes, illogical/unlimited magic system that serves a bit as a deus ex machina, but characterization is great and the writing is great. You've probably read it though :-P
Lev Grossman: The Magicians trilogy. Really excellent writing, reminiscent of the literary skill of Kingkiller Ch

Ravenloft (for the most part) is just gothic heroic fantasy.
I refer (perhaps incorrectly) as Dark Fantasy to the settings where the setting is fantasy, but it's really real and brutal and "realistic" in reasons and concequences. The most obvious example would be "Song of Fire and Ice" by Martin, many of Abnett's pieces (not necessarily fantasy). The

Your choice of books btw is quite simple heroic fantasy, try something of dark fantasy genre, might bring some new aspect to your reading habits.
I love every book from Ravenloft, is that something similar to what you mean?, what could you recommend in that genre?
