I don't necessarily think the game is as "rigged" as people make it out to be, but I do feel like the RC rewards and Imm rewards are a bit too powerful in general. The expectations are so high now that when people get some reward which is more RP in nature, they feel like they get gipped. The only people who I think should get a third legacy or some sort of power boost are those pe
He didn't even get busted until someone on one of the boards pointed it out. Luckily it didn't matter anyways, because he was tired of the character at that point when they banned him.

I'm by and far no expert on this, but from what I've seen/read, it looks like the Fed is printing money due to uncontrolled spending and crippling debt. Basically, if we're lending out money at a certain percentage rate than it is to our advantage to devalue our currency beyond that interest rate by increasing our money supply. This has seemed to be effective for a while now, but i
..I think like any venture, CF just needs new spirit and maybe it is time for some of the higher level imms to step down temporarily or permanently and just play the game for a bit and leave the immortal stuff to the other imms.
"At the end of the day...you guys aren't the jury. You're the publicity. I'm toast, regardless. You're me kicking a dead horse from a differen
People who are veterans generally feel like they should have an inherent advantage. I'm guilty of this as well when it comes to getting into ragers haha. Seriously though, the amount of perks/advantages in this current present version of CF predicated on prior in-game knowledge is obscene. A/B/S and observation/explore xp are two things that are built into the game to give advantages to vete
It's not like people forget where preps are from character to character or that the preps move at all. This game has continuously become less and less newbie friendly and I wish we could just take out the "secrets" that really shouldn't be such.

It's incredible how many people can continuously feel like they're a great asset to the game when every single thread with their name has people explaining to them how they need to improve their attitude. I just hope one day the light bulb goes on for Rogue.

..him healing himself in combat and starting with shield bash wasn't the brightest move, but yeah, let's focus on crazy devil-worshiping villagers and their deranged need to bite the heads off bats..and thirst.

If it was a good fight, I figured they would know it. If it was a super big porno gang bang then I would hope they got the satire in it. Unfortunately sometimes they didn't.

..true, as you said, people would go to other countries and spend there money, but you could always tax the hell out of them if they try to bring said goods back into our country. Also, the poor may suffer, but we could still provide the free services they receive today to compensate. I know it's not a perfect system, and it would definitely hurt our tourism industry, but it would simplify o
..make it to where you naturally get edge points from doing absolutely nothing and then if you decide to explore or pk, you get some additional edges that are not awe inspiring, but present. That way everyone gets something for being the type of player they are.
Haha, I know, it's just that with my last hero, I played him exactly as I wanted and was still lacking in the edge department. I'm just not sure how you consider a hardcoded "reward" for a certain playing style not a disadvantage for a different playing style.
-thinnie
..I just don't even want to do that much =) All I'm saying is that why remove certain facets of the game for people who truly aren't into the exploring part of the game. Do they bring less to CF then those that like to explore?
-thinnie
..I had some other points above what I mentioned in regards to edges. Anyways, I still think there are some pretty powerful AND fun edges out there. I just don't see the point of tying them to anything so mundane as exploring. Why do people just complacently accept that they have to do additional boring stuff in order to have fun on CF? Do you really want to "look dirt", "look
..just because people take a blind eye to whats obviously occurring around them, doesn't mean it's not happening. I'm proud of Tongni for bringing this topic up and hopefully it opens the eyes of the staff and they can do something to better the game as well as the player populace. I brought up the topic before, but I'll explicitly say what many others did, the game is far mor
..I totally agree about breaking RP to help someone who is lost in the game. I've done it countless times. Even telling enemies to leave cabal mates alone because they have no clue at all what's going on. I agree too that the 1000s of hours you spent are well earned, but just like area maps are now available on dikuclan, but were forbidden at some point, would you feel cheated if simila
"Bright wide eyed newbie" to "Veteran who doesn't care about pk ratios"
I'd say people are best off in their CF career to lead to this persona where the experience outweighs the numbers or accolades of our peers. I'd much rather be like this then be "Jaded with far too high expectations."
I just think the ratio of new players to veterans is going
Just as a sub-topic to the whole mess on the official site, I thought I'd broach this subject. Do new players need a dossier to understand edges, preps, areas, etc. to be able to succeed at CF these days or is it possible for a first time player to be successful using innate reasoning abilities and a quick mind? In other words, I see heavily prep'd people make stupid decisions and still
I didn't realize whirlwind was so effective, but still aren't just straight drums enough to get a quick kill when you're fighting a group or if you maledict enough are the concealeds enough to seal kills?
-thinnie
..as you had the elite storm tanking for you, I would have gone in with maces and drummed the hell out of everyone until the storm was dead then gotten the hell out of there. I am in no way a dagger guy though so there may be some facets to this I'm missing.

..it's like they have to be on their own 24/7 because everyone uses a little magic. In my mind's eye if a person is not a mage then my rager is looking to sway them like a preacher would away from the "evil" which is magic. I don't care which cabal they're in. I'm assuming they don't use magic, but if they do, I'm looking to talk to them about why they
..but there has never been a super clear code on parity and trust me I've been playing ragers for quite some time. If he actually swayed the battle, I would say that he needs to explain what he's done, but he clearly didn't reengage, didn't get the dirt off and got one maim. Zynzyn also had a large period of time to get the hell out of there regardless of Pyrox intervening.
..if he had a history of ganging that's one thing, but if this was a first time and it genuinely looked like an honest mistake then there are much better ways to handle this.
.
If you knock a person's skill down without any interaction, you're probably not going to keep that player enthused and playing the same amount they were. I can't believe there are actually people defe
