That's on top of the 3% pay cut we took 2 months ago. And several have already had unpaid vacations (week long furloughs). Now this - 20% additional pay cut. And we can't even meet deadlines for our client because we're basically overworked and understaffed as is.
I don't think the economy is necessarily to blame, either. I think that just makes for an excuse to get away with this and not receive negative publicity in the papers. If a company can cut a lot of employee costs then why would it not try to get away with it?
Anyone else experienced this or something similar yet?
