Our company cut all sales staff and warehouse hours back from 40 to 32, and fired people from every department and didn't replace them at the start of the year. Just had an exec meeting where they reported our costs are up 25% over last year and sales down over 25%. I asked how that could be, got a bunch of strange looks so looked into it behind the scenes(IT Manager has it's benefits), and the VP's all gave themselves raises(noone else got raises this year or last) and new car leases(Up 35% over last year), they all upped to high end Mercedes. Also the President is spending like 10k a week on his amex and somehow doesn't submit an expense report. The parent company of our parent company basically told us we need to cut costs somehow if we don't make up the loss by the end of the year, the solution proposed by the President, cut more low end people before christmas. Lol it's going to be all chiefs and no indians soon. So sad.
