I've been paid for my notes, paid to write papers, etc. which is a nice additional spending cash income.
I've never really cheated that I can recall though. I mean I'll work on homework assignments with friends if I find something difficult or enjoyable (IMPLYING I HAVE FERNDS), or something like that.
But otherwise I've never really needed to cheat in any class, and I don't mean that in a cocky way. I just don't see the point of it. If I need to cheat, then maybe I should be taking something else.
In terms of the morality of cheating...As one of those evil dastardly moral relativists and all - I really don't think it's "bad" or "evil" or anything. I'm also hesitant to take the "THEY'RE CHEATING THEMSELVES" position, though I'm sure it is true in many circumstances. Others, though, might just not want to bother putting forth the effort but could easily succeed regardless. Anyway, it doesn't bother me none. I would PREFER that people don't cheat, but that has nothing to do with my conceptions of right and wrong - and is more because I feel they would benefit themselves more (in a productivity sense) if they instead worked on it in standard fashion.
This morality talk gets me all itchy, I still have trouble understanding creating some arbitrary rules of rightness without admitting "Oh yeah it's just preference" which is what I totally have in common with Matrik in the pirating thread. Because I said so.
Oh, and images relating to pirating and college I guess.
