No, we're not going to let you post whatever you want on the wiki.
I think you're making a mistake by taking the role of attempting to moderate the accuracy of what gets put into the Wiki. As a moderator you should be removing flagrant rules violations (like quest postings) and arbitrating Wiki disputes. However, you should let the accuracy business be disputed amongst the users and only arbitrate as necessary.
Here's my reasoning:
1) There's a bit of a conflict of interest when a large contributor as well as moderator of the Wiki also is deciding what's accurate and what isn't. I don't think that requires much more explanation and while I'm not accusing you of anything, you can see why that might hurt the usage of the Wiki.
2) It will hurt the Wiki if people perceive that the role of keeping it accurate and updated falls on the moderators. Likewise, it will merely impose more of a burden on yourselves.
3) The Wiki is meant to belong to the community, not to Yhorian. Gabe was gracious enough to host it after Xanthrailles lost interest but do try to remember its intention is to be a scratch pad for the community, not Yhorian's personal CF FAQ. Don't assume ownership of something you don't own.
And frankly, its just a Wiki. Its meant to be a fluid evolving exchange of ideas that belongs to the community. That's the point of the Wiki. I don't know why everything you're involved with you need to immediately assume a role of ownership. You remind me of Valgina.
