A large part of what I do is target Facebook ads towards very specific demographic subsets of people and drive them toward webpages that are specifically crafted for them. Obviously, this is labor intensive. Recently FB changed its policies and pulled a number of my ads for "assuming gender" and "assuming medical conditions" and assuming, basically, all the things I targeted t
The player is the weapon. That's the thing most people miss. How well the player player-kills is the most critical factor.
I'm always reminded of Jinroh's dwarf who had no skills practiced. He just wielded a staff and went through life. He had Trib cabal powers and a restrung nap skill. He managed to kill 9 people in the character's life, and one of them was the drillmaster
It's all in the temple in the Araile. I use that stuff quite a bit - pretty sure it has useful +morale.
I thought it was all on the same guy, so it's possibly in that guy's inventory. It also seems like maybe some of it is on some guards.
That temple has hidden stuff in it. Secret doors, objects, that kind of thing. Poke around in there, the mob could be behind a hidden door
You can ask me about anything within the bounds of forum rules. Ranking, killing, prepping, areas, role writing, character builds... hell you can even ask me about startups and exit strategies, general sales and marketing and businessy stuff too since, you know, that's what I do.
I was never one to share information, but I have tons of it from 20+ years of playing obsessively + my time in
I would go in, kill a few of them, come out and send a tell to my opposition to see if they went in after me. If they were in Organia, I could retrieve. It was great because the more gangy a given cabal was at the time the more likely you'd retrieve against no opposition.
...and you had to worry about ranking without getting killed, you could driveby these guys. Because there was/is no quick way in you could generally kill these guys and get out before someone had time to get in and get you. It was a slow way to rank, but it worked when you were alone against a bunch of enemies. I used to do what I called "circuit ranking" which was where I'd go kil
See...I can be helpful.
I more or less solo ranked a druid then a life-path shaman off undead due to their bad ass abilities against them.
If you want to rank off undead the whole way through you can go like this:
Galadon cemetary to...
Wraiths by Barovia or...
Demons at Loch (if that works for you) to...
Skeletons on 1st level of crypt to or...
Shadow Grove in the past...
Skeleton
I've been watching this for years:
If you don't want to look, I'll summarize. CF is at an -all time low- for average connected, with an average connected of 10. It's not seasonal. Every season the number of people playing is lower than the previous season. The trend is 100% downward annually.
I'm not sure why maximum and minimum connected numbers aren't popul
I haven't played in almost two years. I played one come back character then and before that was probably another eighteen month lay off or so. So in roughly three years, one character, which is probably the last time I'll ever play CF unless something drastic happens and CF becomes a fun game people actually play again.
I would say if you are the kind of person who likes to solo lev
Average connected is sitting right around 12 - this includes imms. (mudstats.com) There is no active coder and only one quasi active imp. This means all the broken stuff isn't going to be fixed.
Plus, a significant portion of remaining players are people like Jalim, Necro, Funnyone etc.
This used to be a game where the highs made up for the lows. Now it's a game where the lows a
My area knowledge is bizarre. I can get through significant portions of most area explores including ST and Hell, but some of the areas that were in when I started I never got over my newbishness on. Most amusingly is the eastern road. I know that east leads to Galadon and west to Hamsah, but in my brain I think of Galadon being on the right (east) and Hamsah on the left (west.) This creates issu
