Jalen swings an envenomed dagger at a vicious warg's leg but misses.
A vicious warg's chomp maims Jalen!
*** That was a pretty sneaky strategy for an in-town attack - wargs/spiders can't yell or talk! ***
Lots of dagger opening moves can avoid yells, since it is so up-close and personal. It isn't guaranteed, but chances are good even if your warg can yell it still wouldn&
This log reminds me of why Entropy is retired. Wights should not be chaotic stupid, it really ruins the RP involved with how terrifying and feral they are supposed to be.
- I've picked it up a few times over the years. My memories are rusty since I haven't done it in maybe 6 years so I can't remember the specifics you ask, but I was a serial thief player for awhile and probably had it on 4 of my 10 thieves over the last 15 years or so.
- I will say it gives you a chance to lag somebody who you can't normally lag, but is really unreliable. If

FYI.
Lots of companies and schools use Discord, seems unlikely to be spyware. Is that just a hunch? Or do you have any evidence to back that up?
You got lucky. My teleports usually end up something like this:

For science, I would like to see them try to run two identical carrion fields running at the same time, one where there were lots of edges, easy-in cabal inductions with all cabals from history, auto empowerments, unlimited equipment, and no age/con dying or auto-deleting. It would be interesting to compare the populations between the two games and see which one gets more players, and more player
I have had a few cavern-dwellers. Two Drow, two Svirf. They are supreme in their home terrains as you said, but only average if not lackluster everywhere else.
Unless you are ranking in a place where you can take advantage of it, you aren't going to have a lot to do. Trying to get people to fight you in caves is going to be difficult, if not impossible. But if you get somebody stupid or u
>> When they replaced Tar Valon with Voralian did they keep Tar Valon or do they just ditch that code?
When an area is replaced, the replacement area usually occupies the same vnums, so the old area is completely moved offline in the process to avoid conflicts. You'll notice sometimes you already have items from the new area in your inventory when that happens, because those items j
That series had a huge effect on Carrionfields early on, from Tar Valon to the Blight. I also had a Stone of Tear area in the game at one point, but the mud had changed and we started removing all of the copyrighted stuff and pushing towards original works only by the time it was nearly ready to go.
It'd be interesting to see if they can keep the movie true to the books, or if it'll

Depending on how you deliver your feedback, it can be received positively or negatively. People skills help here.
Even if they like your feedback, they are under no obligation to implement it, either because it conflicts with something else in the game, or it just isn't feasible.
This doesn't make it a conspiracy against you.
I haven't played seriously in years, but I've put about 50 hours into a new character in the last two weeks.
The good:
* I can go anywhere and rarely have to worry about being PK'd
* Everybody I interact with is pretty decent and fun to talk to, I don't have to go far to find people to role-play with. I don't get ignored for being unknown, basically.
* A bored imm w
While you are right that you are taking a chance on getting everything you want in the game, and that there are no guarantees you will hit all your goals even if you try your best, the rest of your post reads like a conspiracy theory involving aliens and the deep state.
Relax. If the game stresses you out this much where you feel like there are enemies everywhere working against you, maybe you
I'm one of the original (well, second round) of imms from the game's launch. I was never a big coder like Jullias or Zhulg, but I have a ton of development, design, and creative touches I've contributed over the years. I do not want my work entering the public domain, at least as long as Carrionfields is still online.
Yes, I haven't done anything creatively with the game in
Not the ones that lower stats. If you load up on all of the -cha, -str, -dex, etc flaws, your form will still have the same stats it always does.
I did it once thinking I would be getting extra edge points if I completely gimped my shifter stat-wise so I could get some sweet, sweet edge boosts. It turns out the edge points you get from flaws are so minor it is almost not even a factor. Most im
I haven't played in awhile, so most of my go-to areas where I would find gear is no longer around or have been revamped.
Are there any lowbie-friendly shields a guy could grab in the game still that help with learning stone armor use while ranking?
The item listings in the wiki for stone/obsidian/onyx/etc in are also mostly out of date, or have gear that is way too high of level for ne
One of my earliest CF memories involved being asked to group by an assassin (actually a Ninja named Moondancer) and to meet at the crossroads. Then I got involved in my first PK attempt and it happened so fast, I had no idea what was going on and kept trying to tell her to run. I had no idea she was the one who was murdering me. I had no idea about treachery and backstabbing hopeless noobs for lo
I liked to setup highlight triggers to light up key words in descriptions. The observation system encourages you to look at things you don't normally look at to learn more about them, and possibly reveal clues about hidden containers, elusive lore, or non-obvious exits. When I pass through a room and see an item was highlighted by my trigger, I'll take a glance at it if I haven't a
I would just create a trigger to detect any time I had 100% mana and was standing (add your position to your prompt). Over the course of 10ish hours plus combined with my observation exploration bumps, it can get into the high 90s pretty painlessly.
But only after he insta-killed me numerous times with those beautiful double backstabs with deathblow action.
The PK dynamic was so cheesy back then, but I miss it.
. They became unlimited as of 4/5.
So far, I'm finding it to be interesting but a struggle to be a centaur. The gear slots definitely leave you hurting at low levels, and being unable to climb, crawl or use boats leaves you looking for solutions. Get used to always having an ample supply of return potions, reduce, flight and water breathing so you don't get stranded and/or blocked o
Every two or three months I will play something and get caught in a rut of either playing a solo stealth character who is paranoid of any interaction, or an RP-intensive character that just can't get past the cabal/religion hurdles and I lose interest after 100 hours.
It's probably for the best, I can't afford the time commitment of a serious character anymore these days anyway.
Oh, and to make it realistic, practice no weapons or hth either. Just kicks.
No other meaningful text, please disregard this message and go on with your life.
I'd say assassins, healers, and bards can all do fairly well with crappy equipment. Necros can also be pretty successful while running around naked, until somebody resists a sleep attempt.
In the first age, pretty much anybody who wanted to be an immortal had a shot, as long as they weren't tagged as cheaters. Most of them washed out around 52-53, but if you put in a lot of hours you got promoted. There wasn't a formal process or any expectations set in stone, but it was generally accepted that you should write an area or make a significant contribution in coding.

I had it back right when the edge was released for it. It had some interesting perks, like being immune to blindness in certain circumstances, but was definitely middle of the road between offense and defense, doing neither particularly well.
I didn't save any logs, but the pincher attack rarely lagged anybody, and the damage was low with 1-2 attacks per round, so you probably weren'
