Obamacare was practically written by the health insurance providers. Sure, they might not like EVERY provision but millions of young healthy people will now be paying into a system they won't be getting anything out of.
Your provider took this opportunity to use it as an excuse to screw you over and raise rates and you blame Obamacare?
between whether or not you SHOULD go to war and whether or not wars increase spending. If you're spending the same amount of money at war as when not at war you're seriously doing something wrong.
All of those benefits that gay couples want were specifically designed to help people who were having children. More specifically, it was intended to help boost the country's population. You don't (generally) get more population by giving tax breaks to gay couples.
/I support gay marriage
That's not a shock. Now I supported war with Afghanistan but not wholesale invasion so on the whole I'd say I disagree with the wars as they were carried out. However, when you go to war you spend a ton of money... the expectation should not be that spending is flat.

When Obamacare was voted in, our organizations health care costs doubled within 3 months.
Obviously you have access to the paperwork and I wouldn't but I find this very very hard to believe. First and foremost I'm not aware of a single provision in Obamacare that came into force within 3 months after it passed.
Secondly I have my own private health insurance plan
When I was young I was at least casually religious. I took the approach that learning about science was indeed making me more familiar with God's great creation and specifically that understanding how atoms worked was just as important to understanding the works of God as understanding the Bible. The path this took me down is that I eventually discovered that we really understand so much a
For some reason in a lot of places religion is taught hand in hand with anti-intellectualism and anti-science rhetoric. This really isn't necessary and it's not quite clear to me whether this is a correlation or a causation. I think if critical thinking were taught then far fewer people would be creationists, but religion is so thoroughly entrenched in our culture that I dare say it w
I have an S-Corp. For all intents and purposes all of the corporate "profits" are passed on to me each year as dividends.
Generally speaking, for the types of corporations that are not exempt from paying taxes, they only pay it on profits that they hold onto. If they spend the money it is a business expense and therefore not a part of the profit, therefore no taxes on it.
All
That "have to" should probably be in very sarcastic finger quotes.. but anyways we don't have jobs for these military personnel to come back to, so we will ship them off to blow shit up on every corner of the globe. Also, the defense contractors are pretty upset about the sequester so we'll need an excuse to fill their pockets even more. It's all much easier to understa
If someone constantly guns for me all the time and makes my life miserable and ranking impossible I will make OOC decisions about what gear to leave them if I do ever manage to kill them.
There's no reason to centralize all that lobbying into one very small geographical location anyways. Make it as difficult and expensive as possible to set up camp with all the Congress Critters.
The executive can stay there, but abolish centralized Congress. Or at least move it around every few years into whatever shitty office space they can rent out in a random lottery of the states e
it's based on some multiplier of the poverty line in your area/state. I looked into it once and I think in NC it was like 1.5x poverty line you qualified for at least partial benefits or something.
I have never understood why people who are opposed to medicare/medicaid don't understand that wages must be high enough for a healthy person who works hard 50-60 hour weeks to afford an apartment, food, basic entertainment (cable, a night out every now and then) and basic medical care. I don't *particularly* support raising the minimum wage but the only alternative to that is to bring
It's the same reason why the banks weren't audited when they were all on the brink of bankruptcy before the fed stepped in. They knew if they audited the banks they'd have to document, reveal, and "do something" about all the illegal shit going on and that would've destroyed the economy even worse.
I hope this isn't insulting but it's a very honest question based on my limited and personal high school experience.
It always seemed like to just graduate, not to get honors or AP credits, but to just graduate with a high school diploma you basically had to speak half-ass English and show up most of the time. Everyone here, as far as I can tell, has the wherewithal to easily gradua
If I were to expect violence, I simply would not go do whatever it was that I was considering doing.
There is a difference between being prepared for something and expecting or looking for it.
