An actual lawyer will know the case by heart, you could google it if you want... but the Supreme Court ruled that corn you grow on your own property for private consumption or for your farm animals to consume is bound by the interstate commerce clause because you *not* buying corn on the open market affects interstate commerce or something like that. I'm not saying I agree with that rulinby Rade - OT Board
It's really light weight, not fun to shoot because with such a light pistol there's a ton of felt recoil. In my case, it's not a "range gun" so that's not a problem.. You really can't go wrong with any of their revolvers. Never had one of their pistols.by Rade - OT Board

You can manufacture stuff right where you need it. And presumably the materials will be 100% recyclable. Very little in the way of shipping things the way we used to. Eventually you'll drive your car to the car lot.. put it on a big conveyor belt, push a few configuration buttons, and out the other side will come your "new" model car, made out of the materials from your old caby Rade - OT Board
The catch will be making a "market" for designs and a stupid simple to use interface where you grandma can pick out what she wants, type in her credit card number, and the design will be auto-downloaded into the printer and out will pop the widget. Think an iTunes market, but for printable widgets.by Rade - OT Board
Being able to print many common household goods instead of driving to the store and purchasing them will revolutionize the entire world economy. Need a new part for your car? We *could* wait for one from the warehouse, or we could just print you one right here while you wait.by Rade - OT Board
I have netflix, hulu+, and prime. If there's a good show that's not available I will pirate it. What I won't pay for is a full cable subscription + DVR + HBO. I would gladly pay for HBO GO. Lately it seems the only content I can't get from the services I pay for are AMC and HBO. *shrug* I don't pirate movies, Redbox or the theater fulfills my needs in that regard.by Rade - OT Board

When you kill someone in self defense or for any reason, even if justified by law you are immediately under arrest when the police arrive. I assure you he was not allowed to leave and would have been/was provided an attorney during questioning of what happened. He definitely was arrested. It was clearly determined pretty quickly that there was no criminal case, a waste of time for the local prby Rade - OT Board

All of a sudden their role went missing, even though they had already been given role xp. I don't know if they ever added it back or not but I remember them bitching about it. May have even deleted over it.by Rade - Main Board
I would add that most military jobs do not really *require* the PT requirements of a combat warrior. If you're an auto mechanic you don't need to have the same levels of physical fitness as the guys busting down doors and taking people down in close quarter combat. And that yes, the the standards should be lowered for both men and women in the cases where it's really not necessarby Rade - OT Board

It could just be another Katrina or other natural disaster. "Zombie apocalypse" type preparation would have helped those people a lot. You don't have to be so dramatic.by Rade - OT Board
Proving that freedom is dangerous is quite simple. All freedoms lead to danger. The question is whether or not a little safety is worth giving up your freedom. Conclusively proving that a particular gun control measure would reduce gun crime is insufficient to say that we should enact that measure. It must be balanced against freedoms of innocent people.by Rade - OT Board
