Lying to get someone flagged:

Am I the only one to think that this is really lame? It has happened to me twice recently. The second situation is a classic:

I am in the White Tower by myself and set upon by (wait for it), a group consisting of a dwarven warrior, a gnome transmuter , a human necromancer and a conjurer. They fail miserably to slay me and the necromancer with a shiny set dies. They are sent packing and I continue doing what I was doing, no Laws were broken, the fight never left the White Tower. The necromancer drops link/quits after returning to his corpse. 25 minutes later I am accused of breaking the Law by an arbiter. He did not ask me for my alignment, only if there were witnesses in my defense. The necromancer didn't even press the charges, it was his groupmates. So I was consequently flagged for killing someone who had attacked me outside of town and who didn't actually press charges. This kind of behaviour can have dire results on someones character, say I wanted to join the Halls eventually or whatnot. It should be a denial offense, and moronic arbiters who flag at a whim should be also. So now I have a permanent record because I didn't bend over and take it up the ass when those four imbiciles tried to have me a pole.
